second birth part 1

part 2: second birth part 2

falling. the impact from the water almost knocking him unconscious, the stinging pain and cool water on his skin bringing him out of his daze, a daze he could not remember how long he was in. what mattered now was getting to the surface, his whole world black as his lungs burned for oxygen. there was no time to wonder what just happened as he swam a few stokes towards the little bit of light he saw, quickly breaking the surface and letting out a scream of pain, confusion and frustration before breathing in deeply. it was night, and immediately he noticed it was not winter anymore. the last thing he could remember was falling asleep in his RV, which he parked next to a lake in one of the town's camper parks. he remembered the exact date; January 4th, 2014. the lake was covered with ice then. from what little he remembered he could have sworn he had a lucid dream that night, but the details were fuzzy. he coughed and began swimming to shore, slowly realizing that judging from the warmth of the air it must have been July or August.

his mind raced with many confused thoughts, but suddenly they all stopped when he realized his body felt different. sensations were coming in from areas that he wasn't familiar with. stopping his pace towards the shore he felt at his body, realizing he was completely naked. he felt a long tail protruding out from his lower back as well as two fleshy fins that came out of his upper back. his heart pounded fast as he felt his face, feeling a long snout that gradually sloped into his head, his whole body from head to toe completely hairless as well. immediately he realized he was one of his anthro planes, which he had spend many years drawing. he began thinking he was in a very vivid lucid dream, but suddenly he felt something brush up against his leg, the sensation causing a sense of panic so strong he immediately began frantically swimming to shore, fearing whatever was below the surface, even if it was just a small fish that bumped into him. the shore seemed miles away, and he began growing tired as he slowly got closer. eventually his feet touched the muddy ground, and he stumbled out of the water completely exhausted, collapsing on the muddy shore.

he was most definitely not dreaming, and as he lay there panting he realized something must have taken him while he slept and kept him in a semi-aware state all this time, returning him in a form that he must have been lucid dreaming about. slowly he got up, getting his bearings back and realizing where he was. he remembered he parked the RV between two pine trees, which he could see the silhouettes of in the dark from where he was at. he made his way towards them, the weight of his tail forcing him to walk differently as he discovered what he feared. his RV was gone, it must have been removed months ago. town was only 10 minutes away, probably 20 or more on foot. he had to get help and get to a safe place. so the newly formed anthro plane began making his way through the dark woods, following parallel to the road that lead to the park to avoid being seen by potentially unfriendly people not used to the appearance of a creature like him. he knew it would be a long and painful walk, but he needed to find out how long he was gone. the hospital would be his best bet...doctors and professionals who care about other living things, and most likely nobody carrying weapons that they could use on him in a panic. getting there unseen though might be a problem...


this is just one part of an epic idea i've had lately, sorta coming about from the thought on what i would do if i was ever abducted by aliens or something and transformed into an anthro plane and suddenly dropped back down to Earth a few months later anybody can ask themselves this question and come up with a novel's worth of ideas lol am also quite proud of how this turned out, the dark/light effects came out perfectly lol and i didnt mess up the shading on the anthro either
